AI Enhanced eDiscovery: Case Study Retrospective

November 11, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join the ACEDS Detroit Chapter for an event

You have heard about AI and it sounds great, but how can it be used in your case? How is it effective in an employment law matter, SEC investigations, financial fraud, whistleblower, or a false claims act matter? Join us to hear a retrospective of these use cases and discuss additional real world uses for the powerful Ai tools and experts available today.

Conceptually, the use for all these is similar – AI in the hands of an expert allows you to (1) access evidence within hours of finished processing; (2) save your client money. Access to concrete evidence earlier in the case life cycle allows you to make better, more informed legal decisions, assign real value, and negotiate from an informed position.

Our combination of advanced Ai & human expertise allows us to perform data analysis and document review with incredible efficiency, speed, and accuracy. This often results in seven figure cost savings in a single case. This way we have examples from all different types of cases showcasing the variety of workflows Trustpoint. One delivers.

Presenter:

Jaclyn “Jacy” Schoen is the Vice President of Strategy & Augmented Intelligence for Trustpoint.One. In this capacity, she is responsible for advising clients on recommended strategy and workflows for their eDiscovery projects as well as the ongoing management of the Strategy & Artificial Intelligence Advisory Group. As part of this role she oversees the development and training of Trustpoint workflows and consultants using Artificial Intelligence & Technology Assisted Review, and their integration with Human Review to assist clients in both identification of evidence as well as fulfillment of their discovery obligations. Jacy is best known for two things. One, her industry disruptive processes to manage efficient workflows defensibly saving clients’ money and two, her early adoption of new technology. These were the attributes that earned her recognition as a “Stellar Woman in eDiscovery”. Jacy has over 14 years of experience managing eDiscovery projects in all stages of a matter.
